The Local News Go Bag project was initiated in 2023 and launched in 2024 to provide information, tools, resources, and connection for local newsrooms and journalists covering emergencies and disasters in their communities.
The project is an ongoing resource to support community-centered disaster coverage and help reporters fill essential information needs during times of crisis.
